One of my first posts involved my victory over a Little-Latchey-Thingy on my car door. It's funny thinking back on my little early victories when I began to do some real inner work. It really was and still is the simple stuff that makes me feel empowered.
My car, for some reason, is a vehicle for empowerment (Pun intended of course). Today I programmed my keyless remote. Boo-ya, baby.
It's dumb. Anyone can YouTube the video on how to do it. But I did it, and the joy that comes along with learning how to fix things having to do with my car is ridiculous. I love learning how to do things, and how to figure yourself out of any situation. A few weeks ago I locked myself out of my house. I happened to have two bobby pins available and YouTubed a video on how to pick a lock. I jammed those babies in and began working it just like the man on YouTube instructed. My neighbor interrupted me and I obviously felt like a weirdo trying to pick my own lock. I never got in via bobby pin, but that will be my next little victory.
